Austin, TX (September 25, 2026) – A 31-year-old woman died Wednesday morning, September 23, after she was struck by a vehicle pulling a trailer while riding an e-bike on South Lamar Boulevard.
The Austin Police responded to the collision in the southbound lanes of the 1700 block of South Lamar Boulevard around 9:33 a.m. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:38 a.m., according to officials.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not found to be intoxicated, police said. The driver is cooperating with investigators. Police have not said what led to the wreck.
