Garland, TX (October 19, 2026) – A 5-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by an SUV on Broadway Boulevard near Tacoma Drive in Garland on Sunday, October 18. Garland Police and Fire crews responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Officers arrived and found the boy unconscious. The child was taken to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, according to police.
Police stated that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
