El Paso, TX (November 7, 2026) – Three people were taken to a hospital after a motorcycle and another vehicle collided at Redd Road and Southwestern Drive, near Interstate 10 in West El Paso, on Friday morning, November 6.

The El Paso Fire Department said the wreck was reported at 9:22 a.m.

Initial reports indicated that the motorcycle was badly damaged, and a sedan also appeared to be involved. El Paso police blocked the eastbound lanes of Redd Road near a Lowe’s store while crews worked at the crash site.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

We hope everyone injured makes a full and swift recovery.

Who Pays My Medical Bills After a Motorcycle Accident in El Paso, TX?

After a motorcycle accident in El Paso, your medical bills may be paid by several sources depending on the policies available and who is found responsible. The order of payment can vary, especially before settlement.

If your motorcycle policy includes medical payments coverage, it may cover eligible treatment expenses up to the policy limit regardless of fault. Not every motorcycle policy has this benefit, so the coverage that applies depends on what was purchased.

Until the insurance claim settles, health insurance may help pay qualifying hospital bills and follow-up care. Depending on its rules, the insurer may later seek repayment from a settlement, making it useful to keep records of the amounts paid.

If the other driver has little or no insurance, uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage on your motorcycle policy may help cover eligible losses. Texas generally offers that coverage unless rejected in writing, although the terms and limits of your policy matter.

Under Texas law, you generally have two years to file a personal injury lawsuit after a motorcycle crash. However, some exceptions exist. Filing late may prevent you from recovering through the court, even while insurance discussions continue.

When insurers disagree about which policy should pay your medical bills, a motorcycle accident lawyer can review the available coverage and identify the responsible insurer. An attorney can also handle disputes and communicate with insurers while you focus on your recovery.
