Houston, TX (September 27, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 10 near Mercury Drive in Houston on Saturday, September 26. The crash happened around 11:55 p.m. in the eastbound lanes.
The Houston Police Department reported that the man’s white truck had run out of gas, and he went to buy fuel.
Police said the man was walking back toward his stranded truck when a vehicle struck him. The driver remained at the crash site, cooperated with police, and showed no signs of impairment.
