Why Are Rollover Crashes So Dangerous in Laredo, TX?

Rollover crashes in Laredo are dangerous because the force of a vehicle turning over can cause serious injuries. These may include head, neck, back, and internal injuries, depending on how the vehicle rolls and where a person is seated.

These injuries can keep a person from working, driving, or handling daily tasks for weeks or months. Some people may also face ongoing pain, costly medical care, and lasting limits on their daily activities.

After a rollover, police reports, photos, witness accounts, and vehicle damage can help show how the crash happened. This evidence may help explain how each vehicle moved before and during the rollover.

When another driver causes a Texas crash, that driver’s liability insurance may cover your losses. The amount available can depend on the policy limits, the circumstances of the crash, and who is found responsible.

Compensation may include medical costs, lost income, property damage, and pain and suffering. The amount you may recover depends on your losses and how the crash has affected your everyday life.

Texas also allows recovery when you share some blame, but your compensation is reduced by your percentage of fault. If you are more than 50% responsible, you cannot recover damages from the other party.

As your claim moves forward, a car accident lawyer can gather evidence, identify available insurance coverage, and communicate with insurers on your behalf while you focus on your recovery.
