What Should I Do If I Was Hurt in a Rollover Crash in Canutillo, TX?
If you were hurt in a rollover crash in Canutillo, you should seek medical care, call the police, gather evidence, and notify your insurance company.
Because of the force involved, rollover crashes can cause serious injuries to your head, neck, and spine. Some injuries may require surgery, physical therapy, or months of treatment. You may also have trouble working or handling your usual daily activities.
Depending on what led to the accident, another driver may be responsible for your injuries. A defective vehicle part or unsafe road condition could also have contributed to the crash. Each accident has different circumstances that can affect who may be responsible.
If you were a passenger, you can usually seek compensation through the driver’s insurance if that driver caused the crash. Your own insurance may also help cover some expenses, depending on your policy and the circumstances of the accident.
Depending on your injuries, you may be able to recover compensation for medical bills, lost wages, future care, and pain and suffering. Keep receipts, medical bills, and records of missed work to show how the accident has affected your finances and daily life.
Under Texas law, you generally have two years from the accident date to file a personal injury lawsuit. Some exceptions may apply, but missing the deadline could mean losing your chance to seek compensation through the courts.
After a serious rollover, a car accident lawyer can look into what made the vehicle roll and whether another party played a role. An attorney can also deal with the insurers and track the costs of your recovery.
