Sanger, TX (September 26, 2026) – A 13-year-old student was killed after a Sanger ISD school bus rolled over on Huling Road near Lois Road East on Thursday, September 24. The crash happened at about 4:55 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the bus was traveling north on Huling Road when it left the roadway, struck a culvert, and rolled over. The 38-year-old driver and three students were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The 13-year-old student was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where the child later died.
Authorities are working to determine what led to the wreck.
