Mustang Ridge, TX (September 22, 2026) – A 17-year-old was critically injured early Sunday, September 20, after being struck by a vehicle in the 6900 block of FM 1327 in Mustang Ridge.
The crash was reported around 1:31 a.m. Emergency crews found the teenager in a ditch on the south side of the roadway. He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver and passenger told officers the teenager was walking in the roadway wearing dark clothing and that they did not see him until it was too late. Officers reported no signs that the driver was impaired.
The investigation remains open.
