Robertson County, TX (September 13, 2026) – Three people, including a 12-year-old child, died in a semi-truck wreck on FM 485 in Robertson County on Friday, September 11. The collision happened shortly after 9 p.m. near Zane Wallace Road.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers said the semi was traveling west on FM 485 when it went off the road, entered the grass shoulder, rolled over, and hit a large tree.
The truck driver and two passengers were killed in the crash. The semi was carrying livestock at the time.
Emergency crews from Hearne, Calvert, Gause, and Bryan assisted at the crash site. Robertson County EMS and local law enforcement also helped.
The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
