What Injuries Are Common in Rollover Crashes in San Antonio, TX?

After a rollover crash in San Antonio, you may suffer head and brain injuries, neck and spinal cord injuries, broken bones, deep cuts, or internal injuries. As a vehicle overturns, it may hit the ground several times, increasing the risk of serious injuries.

Even if you feel fine, symptoms like pain or dizziness may not appear until hours or days after the crash. Getting checked by a doctor promptly can help identify hidden injuries and ensure you receive the care you need.

If your policy includes personal injury protection, Texas PIP may help pay your medical bills and lost income, regardless of who caused the crash. Texas insurers must offer this coverage, but you can reject it in writing. Benefits depend on your policy limits.

Because Texas is an at-fault state, you may seek compensation through another driver’s liability insurance if evidence shows they caused the crash. Your options depend on the circumstances and who, if anyone, is legally responsible.

To support your claim, keep copies of your medical records, treatment bills, and photographs of your injuries. These documents can help show how the crash affected you and how much your medical care has cost.

Under Texas law, you generally have two years to file a personal injury lawsuit. If you miss the deadline, you may lose your right to pursue compensation in court. However, limited exceptions may apply.

Because rollover injuries can take months to heal, a car accident lawyer can review your situation and make sure your claim accounts for your full recovery. An attorney can also communicate with insurance companies on your behalf while you focus on getting better.
