Laredo, TX (October 5, 2026) – Two people were taken to a hospital early Monday, October 5, after a two-vehicle crash at Highway 359 and Las Misiones Boulevard in Laredo.
The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. One vehicle rolled onto its passenger side, and the 21-year-old male driver had to be removed through the shattered windshield. He had no obvious injuries reported, while the 20-year-old female driver of the second vehicle complained of head pain.
Both drivers were taken to Laredo Medical Center and were listed in stable condition.
Investigators are continuing to determine what led to the crash.
We hope both people involved make a full recovery.
How Can You Protect a Claim After a Crash in Laredo, TX?
Protecting a claim after a car crash starts with documenting injuries, treatment, and property damage. Even when someone appears stable after the crash, follow-up medical care can help identify problems that were not immediately apparent.
First, keep copies of hospital records, medical bills, prescriptions, and follow-up treatment. These documents can help connect medical expenses to the crash and show how recovery affects daily activities.
Next, preserve information about the vehicles involved. Photographs of the damaged vehicles, the roadway, traffic signs, and surrounding conditions may help establish what happened. Repair estimates and towing records can also support property-damage claims.
Witnesses may provide another source of evidence. Their contact information should be preserved when available, particularly if they saw the vehicles before the crash or witnessed the moments leading up to it.
Insurance companies may begin reviewing a claim soon after a crash. Statements, photographs, medical records, and other documents may be requested. Before agreeing to a settlement, it can help to determine whether the offer accounts for known medical expenses, vehicle damage, lost wages, and other losses.
If someone misses work during recovery, pay records and employer documentation may help establish lost income. Keeping a written record of missed work and related financial losses can make the claim easier to evaluate.
When the circumstances of a crash or the available insurance coverage are disputed, a legal review may provide clarity. We can review a crash in Laredo and explain potential options based on the available evidence.
