Ector County, TX (September 14, 2026) – A 26-year-old Burnet woman was killed and two men were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday, September 12, on E Cottonwood Rd in Ector County.
The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. near Lariat Trl. Preliminary information indicated that a Chevrolet Camaro and Harley-Davidson motorcycle were traveling westbound when the Camaro moved into the outside lane before attempting a left U-turn.
The motorcycle, traveling behind the Camaro, struck the left-rear portion of the Camaro. The motorcycle passenger suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. The Camaro driver also suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Officials continue to investigate what led to the collision.
